A quick note to all Beaver Island Commission on Aging clients. Due to duties and other activity at the South Lighthouse property over the next two weeks I have changed COA office hours slightly.
The Beaver Island Commission on Aging office is closed today, Thursday, July 30, 2020 and again on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2020. To assure our clients have access to COA services the office will be reopen Friday, July 31, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. and will open on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. for regular business and August meal voucher sales.
We also have a variety of frozen meals that have been prepared by COA senior center cooks on the mainland. These meals come with fruit, milk, bread vegetable and main course. Purchasing a frozen meal does not affect purchasing meal voucher tickets. All clients have access to both meal services.
Thank you again and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused to any COA clients today. Please call 448-2124 to set an appointment or for immediate assistance, call 231-237-0103.
