Beaver Island Wildlife Club tree and shrub give away is scheduled for May 3rd and 4th at Levi's shed on Paid Een Ogs Road. We have 300 shrubs-Elderberry, Dogwood, Cranberry, Hazelnut, Serviceberry and 150 trees- Domestic Apple, Wild Pear and Chestnut hybrid.
Trees will need to be protected and we will provide a tree tube and stake with each tree. Trees and shrubs will need to be watered and tended to until they get established. Please only take what you can use and tend.
Members ONLY on May 3rd- a perk to being a member! You can become a member for only $25 prior to or on that day!
Donation jar will be available also. The club is spending close to $2000 to provide these shrubs and trees free of charge to island property owners only. The types we get are to provide food for wildlife (and humans).
We will not save any for anyone. Be here in person or find someone who can pick up what you want for you.
We look forward to getting all these planted and cared for that week.

Dogwoods are gone and only about half of the rest. It’s a beautiful day to plant trees and shrubs. Free, donations welcome.
