Hello Friends,
There is a COVID 19 vaccine clinic from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on February 2, at Beaver Island Community School.
All Beaver Island Commission on Aging Clients I have spoke with about the vaccine prior to and after the first shot clinic in January—at the health center—is registered with the Health Department of Northwest Michigan. ALSO, each one registered by me with the health department are also registered on the link titled “Beaver Island COVID 19 Signup Survey. To be clear; all seniors with the COA on Beaver Island, I have completed the Beaver Island signup survey for each of you on Thursday Jan. 25.
All COA clients who want the vaccine will be contacted by the Health Department. If you do not hear from the health department before tomorrow morning’s vaccine clinic at the Beaver Island School—DO NOT GO.
As the site coordinator for the Beaver Island Commission on Aging, I have done all I am capable to do to get you registered for the vaccine. Everything from this point on for tomorrow is now in the hands of the Health Department of Northwest Michigan.
I am not able to do more at this time.
Grace and peace,
Lonnie

Re: Commission on Aging information on COVID19 vaccine
Lonnie, that sounds like a tremendous amount of work. You've done a fantastic job on behalf of everyone served by the COA.
