During the month of August anyone currently using C.O.A. services can win a meal voucher by referring a friend age 60 and older to use our services. The referral must be someone who has not previously registered at the Beaver island senior center before and a resident of Charlevoix County.

If you know someone, have him or her stop by the Beaver Island C.O.A./Senior Center office have them give us your name and fill out a registration form. Once the registration form is completed you and the person you referred to the senior center will be placed into a drawing for a free meal voucher. The winning voucher names will be drawn on Aug. 28, 2020.

Also, I want to remind all senior center clients on Beaver Island about the Charlevoix County C.O.A virtual travel club, pals program, wellness check program, home delivered meals program, frozen meal deals, the meal voucher program and the $100 per month reimbursement program.
