Because there is no cantata this year, some of us would like to get together to do an informal event to include singing by individuals (and up to) quartets, instrumentals by individuals or groups, short Christmas scripture readings by individuals and some group participation carol singing. If you would like to be part of it, show up at the Christian Church at 11:30 this Sunday, Dec. 2nd to tell us how you would like to participate and give us your ideas. All ages and skill levels are welcome! We are aiming to put the program on either Dec. 15th or 16th, but probably more likely on Saturday, the 15th due to the Trivia Challenge that will be taking place on the 16th. Tell everyone you know who may be interested in performing or being an audience member.
Thanks, Phil (at 2707, should you'd like to call and chat about it)

Re: Christmas Program
The date of Saturday, December 15th, a time of 2 p.m. and the venue of the Beaver Island Christian Church have been chosen for this year's Christmas program. It's not too late to join us to perform in the event, whether it be as a solo, in a group or just singing carols with everyone. Lyrics will be provided, and there may even be some refreshments after the event. There will be a rehearsal time for all involved this Sunday, December 9th at 11:30 in the Christian Church. Join us in celebrating the reason for the season!

Re: Christmas Program
Go visit with Santa and Mrs. Clause tomorrow Dec. 15th beginning at 1 p.m. at the Community Center. After the kiddies have gotten the chance to tell the jolly old soul what they want for Christmas, come on up the hill to the Christian Church, where beginning at 2 p.m., the 2018 Beaver Island Christmas Program will take place. If you haven't finished seeing Santa before 2, no problem, come to the Christian Church whenever you can. Our musical program should last about an hour or so, and due to a kind donation, refreshments will follow the program including coffee, tea, hot cocoa, apple cider and Christmas cookies and treats.
Jingle bells will be provided! Come carol with us!!
