Re: Great Peaine Township meeting
James, Is it James as in "Sweet Baby James" or "Saint James"? Me thinks if the townships had merged under my mate, Mr. Kohls' leadership, the combined meeting time could be over in just 22 minutes and not the 11 minutes. Now that's efficiency in government. Not bad work if you can get it.

Re: Great Peaine Township meeting
Glad to hear no harm was done in a meeting,
perhaps you and your groupies should stop and consider the harm you do.

Re: Great Peaine Township meeting
Me thinks James was being sarcastic with the no harm comment. Me also thinks a lack of productive and important island business conducted at township meetings does do harm to the island. Are you insinuating that there are no other issues for Peaine Township to deal with at the meeting? An 11 minute meeting is an insult to all who drove to the hall to see business conducted in the interest of tax payers to Peaine Township. As a pirate, I don't pay taxes but if I did I'd be pissed. Only on Beaver Island.

To all the private messengers, sometimes I'm taken too seriously. You have to see the humor in an 11 minute government meeting for a board that only meets once a month. A discussion of Fox Lake would have extended the meeting to 14 minutes and then tabled for further discussion. Soon it will be winter and no one will give a rip until next spring. At that point, meetings should be able to be cut to 5 minutes. So please relax Sour grapes and be thankful that no one is stomping on you to turn you into sour whine.
And to James who started this all, I now know you must be the reincarnate of James Strang, welcome back you trouble maker.

Re: Great Peaine Township meeting
Pirate I can not speak for the meeting as I was not there. Apparently you were as you have a strong opinion about what a proper meeting should have looked like. At the end of the day you and your pony show are cowards at best. The only whining I see is from you and your groupies. You all will never be happy and always have something to complain about.

Re: Great Peaine Township meeting
Dear Sour grapes, Not to be a pain in your butt, but it's a good thing you didn't attend the meeting. It would have been 11 wasted minutes you would never get back. If you think an 11 minute township meeting is acceptable, we see government for the people very differently. I would guess there are a few tax payers in Peaine who might agree with my, as you put it, "strong opinion" that tax payers deserve better meetings. I can assure you that I'm no coward, have no groupies, don't care for pony shows and couldn't be happier every day. I have more positive posts on this forum than complaints but when I see behavior that ought to be called out, I try to do so with a little dry humor and sarcasm which obviously has missed your funny bone.
Now I'm going to bend my elbow at the funny bone and get a little happier. I wish the same for you so you can drop the Sour and just be known as Grapes.

Re: Great Peaine Township meeting
Your positive post are more of a suck up when you push it to far. Hard to take any of your post serious. If you were not so busy judging, complaining and talking about how great you are and how awful others are maybe you would look at things from another perspective. Two member were absent, it is the last month if summer, they had a special meeting earlier in month and there was no new business. If you had questions about ANYTHING I do believe there is an opportunity from the public to speak. I would hope that if any major business needed attention they would want all five to vote. You are so quick to judge and embelish. You guys just can't seem to let anything go. The constant gripping is pathetic. I assure you there are no sour grapes here. The name was to point out the groupies on here do nothing but complain and gripe. Hence, sour grapes. I have seen what happens to the people that try and stand up to you and your little pack and it is brutal. As I have said before, to show a fool sometimes we have to become a fool. You sir fool no one. Now tell your puppet James to crawl back to the Keys and wait for you to wrap up your summer here. Get your little groupies back together and try from another angle to attack because this one was pathetic.

Maybe you pirate should bring your buccaneers to the meetings so you get some bucking balls to speak your mind as a real person and not a bucking puppet pirate. Easy to criticize from the pirate ship. Come forward good mate and make a difference. Don’t keep your buccaneers under your bucking hat.
Re: Great Peaine Township meeting
When I first read your replies I thought you were serious, you guys do have a sense of humor, you crack me up, you keep a smile on my face.

Re: Great Peaine Township meeting
So Jack was bad mouthed because his meetings were to long, Bill is bad mouthed because his meetings are to short, I truly don't think that it matters the length of the meetings but that they were productive and I have heard nothing of that from you guys.....
By the way Dickie two members were missing from the meeting and although I wasn't at the meeting my understanding was that they handled what had to be handled and held off to discuss matters that could wait when they had a full board, which by the way as a TAX PAYER I truly appreciate that. You were not at the meeting either so you would think before you put stuff out on the forum that you know nothing about you would at least ask questions before doing that.
Thank god our township boards do not conduct business they same way you people handle yourselves!!
