I don't even know what that means Duffy! I do know that when you get back I still need to hire you to cut some boards. 8) Eric

Krishnamurtri died very comfortably in his California home. There is a very large retreat that still exists in his name.

Who is the Marine you are talking about? Marines are great Men and I personally would never mock one if I knew they had ptsd or any other injury. I went through a couple military schools that had a few marines in them while I was with the Army. Very impressive men, very dedicate and loyal to Corps and Country.

Public Service Announcement #2 Hi Kids, I am serious now JUST SAY NO! Those marijuana cigarettes may seem like the groovy cool hipster rock n roll thing to do but it is a LIE! A lie I tell you!

For crying out loud please watch Refer Madness to get the facts before it Too Late! You too can save your self!

I read a scientific study that proved without a shadow of a doubt that people who smoke to much pot actually eat deep fried babies on a stick! Don't let this be you! Its never to late to stop!

What the hell is "Refer Madness", Adam? Poor kids couldn't find it if they wanted to. And while I'm at it, take a look at your 1st PSA. At least the kids know the difference between your and you're.

Duffy, I'll save you for another time!

This topic has been bouncing on and off track long enough! February will be over soon, find something else to banter about, something worth reading, thanks!

Grammar Police thank you for pointing out my mistake. I have been a thorn in my poor English Major/Art degree Mothers side for decades. I even have a couple years of college level English but I still fail to follow the rules. I guess am a language anarchist. Clearly in college I was on the "Pay the fee get the B" English and writing plan. I am truly a barbarian with ADD and dyslexia.

These days I usually prefer to communicate in public with interpretive dance or puppets. Nothing expresses a thought better than 52 year old, 6 foot 2 inch tall 240 pound pasty white guy dancing with puppets.

Is it spring yet?

Another wise man saying...

Post by Kevin Green »

Reading this thread reminds me of a saying from another wise man, Mayo Smith who managed the 1968 Tigers and tried to warn Folks from arguing with the always negative Denny McLain: "Boys", he would say, "Never get into a pissing match with a skunk."

Pitchers and Catchers will report soon - all will be well!

Kevin, perhaps you've been on vacation, or maybe just working too hard, but pitchers and catchers have been in camp for over a week and the first official Spring Training game is tomorrow! We can all relax now, baseball is back! And, yes, '68 Tigers rule.
