iPad 3g work on island?

iPad 3g work on island?

Hi - I am wondering if the new iPad wi-fi + 3g works on the island? For the 3g apparently you sign up for AT&T satellite which shows coverage where I am on E. Side Drive.

Does anybody actually know if this works?
