looking for mainland pick-up to rent

My truck was scheduled to go off on the ferry on Friday, Oct. 12th for my fall trip off the island. It has developed tranmission problems that make it unwise to trust it on the highway to Wisconsin and back. Does anyone have a small pick-up that they would rent for 10 days or know of anyplace on the mainland close to Charlevoix that rents small trucks? A U-haul would be cost prohibitive for that length of time. If you can help, or know where I could rent a truck nearby, please respond to this post or call me @ 231-448-2707.
