I REALLY NEED HELP :(

I have a banquet dress that desperately needs to be taken in at the top.. I had someone try to do it but the things they put in it to try and make it stay just keep coming out and I am out of ideas. Banquet is on this Friday (May 12th) and I really want everything to be perfect. PLEASE HELP!
