So far we are left without any course offerings at the biological station. It May be the first summer in years without our annual art show. Many of us look forward to our annual two weeks of art and fun on the island with our many friends we have made over the years.

Jon - is there anything that may persuade the new CMU regime to change their mind?

What! I have kept quiet during many discussions on this forum but this is unbelievable. This definitely warrants a response. Maybe we could launch a letter-writing campaign? Has anyone discussed this with the new director? I am not sure who the new director is, but if he does not have a good reason for not offering the art class I am going to be very angry. Does anyone know why the class is not offered? Maybe they have not gotten around to announcing it yet.
