Free Trees will be available May 1

Post by jacquel »

BIWC will have free trees and shrubs available for Beaver Island Landowners. The trees and shrubs will be coming to the island just prior to May 1. They will be located at Levi Connor's Wood shed on Paid Een Ogs Road beginning May 1. No trees will be held so make sure you stop by and pick up what you want.
The following trees/shrubs are available. Most shrubs should be planted in a minimum of pairs for cross pollination. Take extra in case one doesn't make it. No limit on the number and we will let you all know if there are some still looking for homes the following week. Bring your own container to pick up the plants that will be bare root. Directions and information sheets will also be at the wood shed.
