Beaver Island Michigan

We are looking for a place to see the comet. From Lake G I don’t think we can get enough sky to look for comet because of all the forrest. Any suggestion on a good place, on the island, to look for it?

I think it’s supposed to be in the northeast below the Big Dipper a few hours before dawn. So the east side maybe at the Wagner campground. Check Beaver Island Dark Skies on Facebook. I was up at 4:30 but it was already too light.
