Beaver Island Michigan

All interested in helping to keep Beaver Island's wonderful trail system open and accessible are encouraged to join the group that will meet at Bill Wagner Memorial Campground at 9 a.m. tomorrow, Sept. 27th. From there we will disperse into smaller groups that will work on at least the 7 Bridges Trail, Buffalo Camp Trail, the Blue Trail and hopefully others. Please bring something to keep hydrated with, cutting and trimming tools and wear appropriate clothing and footwear. The Beaver Island Archipelago Trails Association thanks you!

Thanks to all who showed yesterday morning and worked so hard, much was accomplished on the several trails cleared. Special kudos to those who worked on opening Gov’t Tower Trail (south side of and paralleling Fox Lk.) and on the removal of several very large downed trees (mostly diseased beech) on Buffalo Camp Trail.
