AARP Smart DriverTM Course Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at the Beaver Island Community Center from 9:30am to 5:30pm upstairs in the Hangout

Since 1979, AARP Driver Safety has helped over 15 million older drivers stay safe, educated and confident behind the wheel. AARP Smart Driver course participants will learn:
Many participants may be eligible for a multi-year insurance discount after taking the course. Participants are encouraged to check with their own insurance agent to see if they are eligible. There are no tests required to pass the course.
The course is open to drivers of all ages and costs $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members. Payment by cash or check only will be required on the date of the course at check-in. Checks should be made payable to AARP.
Participants can register for the Beaver Island course by calling Ann at 231-448-2022. Those 60 years of age and older will be able to order lunch through the BI Dining Out Program upon registration (and completion of a NAPIS form) for a suggested donation of $3. Those under the age of 60 will need to make arrangements for their own lunches. A microwave is available onsite.
