TOWNSHIP SEEKS PLANNING COMMISSION AND B.O.R. MEMBERS

Here is your chance to help out your community. Please consider serving in one of these important roles.
The Planning Commissionâ??s role is to plan for the needs of citizens and visitors to St James Township with respect to land development, transportation, recreation, conservation & environmental protection.
The Planning Commission is required to meet four times per year.
Current members are Bob Tidmore, Patrick McGinnity, Adam Anderson and Jeff Powers; the township should have 5 members and can have up to 9. Members must be qualified electors of the township. Members are paid a per/meeting stipend.
The Board of Review (BOR) consists of three members appointed by the township board for a two year term. The Board of Review meets in December, March and July of each year and its purpose is to make sure that property is uniformly assessed and to hear taxpayer appeals. The township has a 3-member board and a seeking an alternate. Current BOR members are Bob Tidmore, MG Roe and Julie Gillespie.
