Home energy efficiency and therma camera testing

Hi everyone,

As part of the sustainability fair this week, I’ve brought my home energy efficiency testing equipment to the island for a presentation this Saturday 6/22.

It would be a missed opportunity to not offer help to anyone who is looking to improve their comfort, efficiency and/ or lower their home utility bills / usage. Having worked in the field for many years testing hundreds of homes, I’d be glad to assist any island residents in their quest to be more comfortable at home and lower their bills. My testing equipment includes a “blower door” to measure air leakage and a thermal camera to detect areas where insulation or air sealing might be needed.

Instead of charging or setting any rate, I am glad to offer my help for any donation that seems reasonable to you. Depending on your situation, we can do a walk through or set up the blower door and use the thermal camera on your home which is an interesting experience. Testing may highlight places to fix and opportunities to help seal gaps and cracks which not only let out conditioned air, they also allow pests to enter your home.
