Last chance to sign up for COA Easter meal

Hello friends,

What do you call a cow with a twitch? The answer will follow this announcement from the Charlevoix County Commission on Aging on Beaver Island.

All C.O.A. clients please place April meal voucher orders by calling 231-448-2124 or stop by the Beaver Island C.O.A. office before noon Monday through Friday. April meal vouchers will be available to pick up at 9 a.m. on Monday, April 3.

Dine in or take out. The C.O.A. will hosts the final congregate meal for the 2022-2023 season on April 12. C.O.A. congregate meals will resume September of 2023. From noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, at the Beaver Island Community Center the COA will serve an Easter meal. The Shamrock will prepare a ham dinner with sides. The meal is $9 for individuals age 60 and older and $12 for all individuals age 59 and younger. To place a takeout order or to reserve a place at the table for this meal call 231-448-2124 ASAP.
