Hello friends,

What do you call a group of berries playing instruments? The answer will follow this quick Easter meal announcement from the Charlevoix County Commission on Aging on Beaver Island.

April meal vouchers will be available to pick up at 9 a.m. on Monday, April 3. Place your meal voucher order by calling 231-448-2124. Or stop by the office during our regular business hours.

From noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at the Beaver Island Community Center the COA will serve its Easter meal. The Shamrock will prepare the meal, which will be a ham dinner with sides. The meal is $9 for individuals age 60 and older and $12 for all individuals age 59 and younger. To reserve a place at the table for this meal call 231-448-2124 ASAP. Interested volunteers call 231-448-2124.

We will offer a short presentation during the meal from Michigan State University Extension office who will be visiting the island on April 12. Public is welcome to attend.
