Walking the Bridge on Labor Day

A question...I have just recently heard that we here on Beaver Island have our own "walking across the bridge" event on Labor Day. The person that was telling me about it said how fun it was and or course a little quirkiness. I have asked others about it and it seems like maybe it isn't necessarily published just more of a word of mouth event??? I am very interested in participating if someone could share the time to gather. Thank You
