Hi Folks
I had a Doctor appointment a couple of weeks ago and my hip healing after my accident has progressed very well and the doctor had me stand up and place all my weight on my left leg. Well this fellow was a little skiddish about doing it, it has been 9 days short of 3 months of toe touch only on my left leg. I finally mustered up the courage to do it and IT HELD TOGETHER. The Doctor said your set to go which meant I could start walking without the walker. Well guess what easier said than done. After 3 months of no use all my leg muscles are in sleeping mode. So I had to get a cane to assist in walking. I was at a stand still in Physical Therapy until I was able to put weight on my left leg. So we are doing alot more pertinent things to get me walking normal again. It is going to take a little more time but progress is being made. It is much easier getting around now not having to use the walker. It is nice to be able to go to the Post office and the Airport for UPS. It won't be too much longer and I will be back to work and all of you folks that have been waiting to get your car fixed properly can have it done by me. Thanks again for all of you that have been staying in touch and keeping up with the healing progress. I am looking forward to getting back to providing SUPERIOR Auto Repair to all Beaver Island Residents. I will be welcoming new customers also.
