I found a pair of yakgear bike gloves on Donegal Bay Rd. I attached them to the sign entering St James Campground if you know who they belong to.

I walked to the campground today and a number of the sites have signs that say "keep out". I was just wondering why. I thought maybe because of the remodel but there is no work going on. Are they actually closed?

A friend asked me about the half marathon that will take place in August this year. Is this a fund raiser for one of the organizations on the Island? Since I have not participated in the past (sorry) I don't have the answer.

Doug and I are shocked and so sad to hear of Phil's passing. He was an awesome person, so upbeat. Our hearts are heavy with sadness. Condolences to his family.

The lighthouse will be open for tower tours tomorrow, September 22 from 10am-Noon. Freewill donations.

The tower will be open August 25, for tours between 9am and 11am.... and again on September 1, the same times. Watch the door for the next opening.

The Whiskey Point Lighthouse tower will be open for tours Saturday from 11A until 1P..

If you missed the lighthouse tours today, it will be open again for tours on Saturday from 11A-1P. Please wear comfortable shoes (avoid wearing Flip flops)
