Moving brewery equipment Saturday
Hello all, It's been a long time coming, but we are finally ready to move brewing, kitchen, and bar equipment out of storage and into the brewery itself! If anyone would like to help, we're hoping to start at 1:00 Saturday afternoon. Strong arms and backs welcome, as well as trucks and trailers. We ...

Dakota pick-up
As much as I hate to let it go, I have a Black 1996 Dakota sport for sale: ~127K miles, 4cyl 2wd, manual transmission. Needs new clutch, but the engine is reliable. Interior is a bit rough, and driver-side door is finicky. But all in all, this truck looks pretty darn good for its advanced age, it ha...

flatbed trailer needed to borrow/rent
Hello all,
The brewery has three bunks of drywall we need to get off the BIBCO dock before 5 pm today. Looking for a trailer that will hold it all so I can get it unloaded over the weekend. I have a 2" hitch on my truck, but could swap it out.
Thanks!

Quickcrete
Hello all, Whiskey Point Brewing Co. needs 15 more bags of Quickcrete (80 lb. bags) to patch a slab we cut out for drain lines. We just bought up the stockpile at the Beaver Island Lumber Company and came up a few bags short. If anyone has some of the yellow-bagged premix they would be willing to se...

One thing we need to work on developing is a Beaver Island brand that would be known beyond our shores as a mark of __________ (fill in the blank: quality, authenticity, etc.). I'm not referring to a logo, though a brand might well include a logo. Branding is getting people to invest in the stories ...

Working electric blanket needed
Hello all! I have 15 gallons of porter I brewed at the tail end of the last heatwave (Wednesday, that is). I had hoped to keep the temperature in the fermentation chamber up around 65-68, but with the little heating pad I have in there it is holding about 10 degrees lower than the yeast would like. ...

Brewery
Yes, there is a brewery in development. Whiskey Point Brewing Co. should be opening sometime in the spring, initially with a taproom only model, but hopefully moving to limited self-distribution on the mainland before long.
