convicted (last week) cop killer tried suicide in jail and is now on a ventilator..not expected to live....I hope SOMEONE approaches his family to check about organ donation......

perhaps something good could come from the tragedy of killing a cop at a traffic stop).....

ok so we now know the ice classic marker is NEVER going to sink as winter is NEVER going to end.....BUT (says Pollyanna!!) we ( as in someone else ) can run out there and plant a stick marked in feet ( or yards???) to measure our snow fall.....we're going to be beating copper country for snow fall.....

Don't the kids have a long enough day without taking something from REGULAR school hours & adding it on to the day?

I am neither a parent, teacher nor musician .I am however a great fan of music and am deeply disappointed in the decision to end the Strings Programme .How did this come about ? Were parents ,teachers and musicians notified in advance? How was the community (ie the "rest " of us) to be not...
