The new format for the Beaver Island News is terrific

I could not agree more. There are some really bad people who are apparently unwilling to serve the Island, but have no hesitation to criticize those who do.

Both TDS telephone and internet service can be placed on an off season status for the months you are not there. This reduces the charges from approximately $88/mo to $22/mo.

I hope St. James Township will do likewise.

We just signed up for Dish Network. The lady who took the order said that we would have to pay the expenses of the installer to come to the Island. I thought there was a Dish Network installer on the Island. Terry? Does anyone know what's up?
