Boat
It might be nice to get some people to the Island for the Great Day but where will they stay. I heard the only motel available has been booked for weeks?

rent
The marketplace / trade forum has a nice cottage for rent by the day or by the week!
Everywhere you look you will see that companies that do run based on ice out availability. I know when I was on the board there were discussions about the need for a weather availability policy but I really don't know what the status of that is. The question always was that these trips were not "profitable". Which led me to ask the question, if we are taking such large sums of taxpayer money to operate the boat then why are we not listening to our customers (the public) and doing everything possible to adjust to the needs, other companies do.

Some times its for the good of the island
Its should not always be about profits somtimes it about whats good for the island . And it would be full anyways so it would be profitable !
