Beaver Island Michigan

I posted a short time-lapse movie (41 seconds) that shows the freezing of the harbor on Beaver Island from the 14th of January 2007 until the 28th on You Tube. The movie is from a series of still shots taken every 30 minutes.

If you have dial-up on the island and want to see the movie I left a couple of CDâ??s at the library. You will need to load Appleâ??s QuickTime Player to play the ones on the CD. I include a copy of the player on the CD (itâ??s free).

For those with dial-up, if you have the patience to let the video run through to the end with all the stopping and starting it will then play normally thereafter as it should.
