school is out...I'm hungry

Some of our kids qualify for food/meal assist during the school year...what happens when school is out..summer!....are there extras to assist those families? Is the food pantry involved with this.?I know resources were/are strapped...

I was listening to a fundraiser on the radio and wondered about Island kids for summer food now 2 meals are added to family budgets...

Are families aware if there is an island assist for summer food for kids?

We've been hungry..wasn't fun...don't want folks to be hungry

Miranda my questions were more about those in need ..are there options specifically w/ school out for summer now...is there a "summer"plan at food pantry ...I know times are strapped...
