visitor's info - boating

Coming soon to spend a weekend on the island. Will be boating over in a 20' runabout. Not sure if we'll camp or hotel it but would like some info on slip rental and Marina availability. The website for BI Marina crashes upon opening.
Slip rates and availability?
Would it be adviseable or possible (legal) to anchor near shore and camp on the beach? or possibly one of the campgrounds has dockage???
