Here is the story of the Roatan Fast Ferry.
The business was started by a businessman from Roatan years ago to haul Coconuts and other freight to the mainland of Honduras which had no coconuts. The business became profitable and the man became very wealthy running this ferry service to the mainland. Eventually he had two ferries that took passengers and freight to and from the mainland. The airlines handled most of the travelers however as it was much faster to travel via the airlines.
Over the last ten years as the man aged, his son was taking over the reigns of the ferry , and unbenownst to his father went to the USA about 5 years ago and purchased a fast ferry, knowing that his father was dead set against this due to the costs of operating such a vessel. When the son returned from the US he went to his mother first and told her what she had done. She told him that she had no problem with it as it was time for new ideas to come into the business but that he better go right away and tell his father.
When the son told the father he was so upset with his son that he collapsed and had a stroke. He was rushed to the hospital and was close to death. After the new ferry went into operation within no time they were flooded with business, so much so that they are currently working on purchasing the second fast ferry to deliver tourists to Roatan.
The old man recovered from the stroke.......
I guess sometimes new ideas and thoughts are needed to make things for the better.
End of story.
