Dear Beaver Island Community:

Thank you all for your calls and concern. I am here on Beaver Island- safe and sound. The e-mail stated that I was being held in London. Someone did hack into my e-mail account on 10/18 and I apologize for the trouble this episode has caused. It is wonderful to have such a caring community behind me; but, there is no need to send money-it is a scam. I always thought that bizarre incidents like this only happens to others. Thanks again for caring. We are working this out with Yahoo and I am told that it should not cause any harm to your personal e-mail accounts.

Do you mean to tell me I just pawned everything I own and sent all the money to you in England via your Nigerian bank for nothing? WHAT!!!!!!!!!!
