LOGAN MARIE MCDONOUGH

Logan, on the day you came,
You took our breath away.
We took you close into our hearts,
Knowing there you would always stay.

You brought us joy each day we shared,
Your smile was so infectious.
That twinkle in your eye, far and away,
Was always just so precious.

When you walked into a room,
The air became much brighter.
And at each and every Laker game,
You were known as such a fighter!

Your passing leaves us all so sad,
Our hearts are truly broken.
We wished that this were a bad dream,
Sadly, that wish was only hoping.

We must go on, we have no choice,
â??Tis Godâ??s plan they often say.
And if that plan all does come through,
Weâ??ll be together again some day.

For now we all just feel such hurt,
We all sit and wonder why.
We love you so, we should not part,
Itâ??s too soon to say goodbye.

Weâ??ll have our memories,
To keep in our hearts,
Those thoughts will never die.
And each time we look up toward the heavens,
Weâ??ll see the twinkle in your eye.
