"The way it was", Stanley Floyd

I'm trying to find the book "The way it was", Stanley Floyd. I was told my gg-grandfather and family are mentioned in it. He was Joseph Theys (also Thes) He was a Belgian and worked as a cooper. I believe he was on Beaver Island from about 1860 to 1868.
