In the most recent editions of the Beaver Beacon and Northern Islander, there is an announcement regarding auditions for the Comedy Group on Tuesday, September 17. Big typo!!! The audition is scheduled for Tuesday, September 13, at 7:00 PM at the Community Center.
Those interested in being "in the spotlight" should be at least 18 years old and should be prepared to participate in two of the following for their audition:
a. Improv;
b. Bring an idea for a comedy sketch to explain to the group;
c. Perform in a scripted role with others;
d. Prepare a monologue or stand-up routine (1-2 min in length);
e. Or perform something original you've selected.
