John Clevenger, Hunter Education Instructor with the DNR, is offering a Hunter Education Class August 20 & 21 from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Beaver Island Community School. Please plan to bring a sack lunch.
Hunter safety is required if you were born after January 1, 1960, and you want to purchase any Michigan hunting license, or if you are planning an out-of-state hunting trip where a hunter education certificate is required.
No minimum age, but children under 10 must be accompanied with an adult during class.
Cost of registration is $10.00 - Cash Only! This fee may be waived for financial hardship.
