McCafferty Rumors...Clarification please

To our dear island residents who are treading heavily on the island rumor treadmill! John and Beth McCafferty are not moving off island permanently! Yes, we have bought a small second home off island so we may enjoy visiting our growing "brood" of grandkids easier and also to have a base home to stay at when we have off island work. We are hoping to "downsize" our island farm and have a more economical set up. The plan is to be able to afford two homes like the majority of others that have a home on the mainland, and one on the island. (yes, both will be horse friendly) John and his son are carrying on the McCafferty tradition of building quality island homes for many years to come!! Please spread correct info. or ask us.....it is affecting our business (we need island work too) and we are tired of addressing the incorrect rumors. Thank you.
