Sheila Ricksgers Evans RIP

SHEILA MARIE EVANS,

55, a lifetime Lapeer resident, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2011. Sheila was born on March 1, 1956, in Lapeer, daughter to Robert William & Janice Majorie (Carpenter) Ricksgers.

Sheila graduated from Lapeer High School, class of 1974. She worked many years in the abstract & title industry. Most recently Sheila was a fulltime caregiver to her mother.

Sheila is survived by her mother, Janice Risksger of Lapeer; and siblings, Brenda (Keith) Morey of Lapeer, Cindy Ricksgers of Beaver Island, MI, Ted (Teresa) Ricksgers of Lapeer, Cheryl Bruff of North Branch, Nita Ricksgers of San Antonio, TX, Robin Karrer of Lapeer and Amy (Dennis) Dorr of Lapeer. Sheila is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friends, Steve Smith of Lapeer and Bob Evans of Beaver Island, MI.

Sheila was preceded in death by her father, Robert W. Ricksgers; brothers, David Ricksgers, Bobby Ricksgers; and her sister, Darla Ricksgers.

Memorial contributions in memory of Sheila can be made to the McLaren Hospice.

Memorial gathering will be 1â??8 pm Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer.

Sheilaâ??s memorial service will be 11:00am Friday August 5, 2011 at Muir Brothers, Father Clement Suhy, O.S.B. officiating.
