Beaver Island Michigan

I noticed that that old metal winch thing (this months cover page) or whatever it is looks like its in the water .Dose that mean the water level came back up?The past few years that we've been on the island the water had been down.

The water seems to be up slightly from last year, but it's still low compared to years past. The winch was located within a few inches of the shoreline when the photo was taken in late May, but the creek is flowing out right at its base this year.

What beach is that on?

Iron Ore Bay

Thats what I thought thanks....That has been there over 30 years at least.
