Hello all,

What do you get when you cross poison ivy with a four-leaf clover? The answer to this submitted joke will follow this Charlevoix County Commission on Aging office on Beaver Island announcement.

My hope is everyone is well, and everyone has seen our activity schedule on the Beaver Island Community Calendar or heard about what we are doing from the other informational outlets for the Island.

Cardio Drumming is at 10 a.m. each Monday and Wednesday at the Beaver Island Community Center in the auditorium. This is a fun and upbeat activity for everyone!

The Senior Tai Chi DVD is at the BIC Center in the hangout. The Tai Chi DVD is like the Arthritis Class DVD, which is also at the BIC Center in the Hang Out. Tai Chi is at 11 a.m. on Thursdays. Arthritis Class is at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays.

April lunch is scheduled for noon-1 p.m. on Friday, April 26, at the BIC Center and will be catered by the Wild Strawberry Café. The menu is available online on the Beaver Island Community Calendar and flyers around town and attached as an image to this post.
The Executive Director of the Charlevoix County Commission on Aging and Assistant Director for the COA will be attending this lunch, along with the Charlevoix County Administrator. Come meet the leadership of Charlevoix County and the COA during this lunch. To RSVP call 231-448-2124 before Friday, April 19.
