This Saturday, Feb. 10th, we are planning to have a PRE- Eclipse event for families and individuals who wish to know more about how they can view and participate in the upcoming TOTAL ECLIPSE, on April 8th. There will not be another solar eclipse in our area for 20 years!
Opportunities are available for CITIZEN SCIENCE in both the GLOBE app and ECLIPSE SOUNDSCAPES. Both are free programs to encourage you to be a part of the country wide DATA GATHERING on the date of the eclipse. We can get you set up so bring your phone or device with you.
We have books available about the eclipse for youngsters, and adults to read together and other activities planned.
We will have other programs in the next couple of months leading up to the Eclipse. Kids are encouraged to be involved also!
