Turkey lunch available November 22

Hello all,

Why did the turkey bring a microphone to the celebrity show? You can find out at the end of this Charlevoix County Commission on Aging on Beaver Island announcement.

Thanksgiving lunch for Beaver Island residents is set for 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 22, at the Beaver Island Community Center. Lunch will be provided by the Shamrock. The menu is roasted turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, and dessert. Because we know many people will be busy preparing for the holiday; the meals will be packaged for takeout, dine in option is also available.
Lunch is $6 for individuals 60 and older & $10 for individuals under the age of 60. Reservation sheets are located at the BIC CENTER, COA office or call 231-448-224 to reserve a meal.

Seeking volunteers for COA congregate meals and drivers for home delivered meals. Also seeking people to serve older adults in home with light housekeeping needs, or non-medical home care needs on Beaver Island. Call 231-448-2124 for more information.

Applications for the Charlevoix County Snowplow program are available now at the Charlevoix County Commission on Aging Office on Beaver Island. This program will reach capacity quickly. Call 231-448-2124 for more information on the snowplow program.
