Veterans Complimentary Burger Lunch

Hello friends,

Why would a pig dressed in black never get bullied? The answer to follow this BURGER DAY announcement from the Charlevoix County Commission on Aging on Beaver Island.

Free hamburger lunch for All VETERANS on Tuesday, August 8. That’s right, it is a Burger Day cookout, and we are providing burgers for lunch, and letting you top it your way.
Come and have lunch with us on from noon-1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 8, at the Beaver Island Community Center and meet with our Charlevoix County veterans Affairs Officer, or just come and enjoy a grilled hamburger. All are welcome to attend.
Our donors have worked hard to make this lunch possible for our Beaver Island community. The Burger meal is free for ALL VETERANS. The burger meal is $3 for anyone age 60 and older; the cost is $8 for ages 59 and younger. The burger meal includes sides and beverage. Come and visit from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; burgers are served Noon -1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 8, at the Beaver Island Community Center.
Volunteers are still needed for this event.
