I am currently in the hospital but improving considerably. Many thanks to those folks around me on Friday who helped me and to the incredible support of EMS, Island Airways, and our deputies on Beaver Island. Hoping to be back home soon. The Charlevoix County C.O.A office on Beaver Island will be open for C.O.A. Meal voucher sales from 10 a.m. — 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1. All COA activities are canceled for the week until site coordinator Lonnie Allen returns.
