Telephone Pole Theft
The power crew working on the island for a very large update have been replacing older poles. Someone is taking them (the old poles) in the dark of night or at some point! This includes at least a dozen that were saved for the PSJA association. This is theft! The foreman of the crew wants them returned or the state police will become involved and make it a bad situation. They are not going to mess around on this so someone had best step up!

Looks like it might be the Great Scottish Caber Caper of Beaver Island. I trust the State Police will nail the polecat who took them. Somewhat hard to drive down the road with 25 ft. utility poles sticking out the back of your trailer and not be seen. Take if from a chemical engineer, burning treated utility poles in a wood stove gives off toxic fumes so be looking for someone putting up a 25 ft. high fence. Unless they are stupid enough to burn them in which case their punishment will have rendered itself.
