Ideas for the fam

when We visit each year we like to plan a special thing to do for our kids. We are running out of ideas. So far we’ve visited garden island, massages, kayaking, music festival, nature hike, museum week, the usual stops. Can anyone recommend some other ideas for us? My son mentioned horse back riding but I’m not sure if there is a business for that.

Lots of great ideas above! The diving is something we never considered, thanks for the suggestion!

Some things we love to take vistitors to are:

CMU offers some great programs in the summer.

The "snake boards" by Miller's Marsh is always fun for the kids to see the snakes on the island. There are some pretty cool ones!

Hike to French Bay

Beach glass hunting on Cables Bay

Lots of wild fruits and other treats to pick depending non season. Blueberries, blackberries, cranberries, apples, morel mushrooms, wild leeks, raspberries, asparagus just to name a few!

Eagle watching, (and of course many other birds)

Beaver island is magical! Let us all know what you end up doing! Happy summer.
