BEAVER ISLAND รข?? A local realtor received an award at the Annual General Membership Meeting of the Antrim, Charlevoix, Kalkaska Association of Realtors at the Weathervane Restaurant.
Matt Rader, association president, presented the Realtor Emeritus Award to Ed Wojan, broker and owner of Ed Wojan Realty of Beaver Island.
The Realtor Emeritus designation is the most prestigious and highest honor that can be bestowed on a member by the National Association of Realtors. Anyone who has maintained membership in the National Association for a cumulative period of 40 years is eligible for the status, Rader said.
Wojan joined the National Association of Realtors, Michigan Realtors and the Antrim Charlevoix Kalkaska Association of Realtors in 1977. Wojan has remained with the ACK Association throughout his 40-year career. The Antrim, Charlevoix, Kalkaska Association recognized the valuable and lasting contributions Wojan has made and continues to make to the real estate profession in his community.
