I have heard it is being sold to a group in Chicago to operate out of Navy Pier as a skyline tour boat

You are totally correct, Pirate, apparently your methods of communication are a little slow. The South Shore was sold for that purpose, perhaps that note in a bottle floated around for awhile before it landed on the shores of Whiskey Island,

Hey Doc, You are right that the South Shore is old news but the Beaver Islander is new news from my pirate friends at the end of the lake. Rumor has it BI is getting a newer, but used, faster boat in the spring of 2018.

Sailor Jerry Rum for the best messages in a bottle, never lets you down. From what I'm hearing it is a smaller boat but a faster boat.

From what I understand the Islander is in for routine maintenance to be sure everything is in working order as a condition of sale.
