R.I.P. Kenneth Slater

I regret to announce that my father, Ken Slater, husband of Loretta LaFreniere Slater, has passed peacefully in his sleep yesterday afternoon... to be with Our Father in a place without pain.
Visitation will be Friday, November 3, at 7pm at Holy Cross Church, Beaver Islandâ??with a rosary to follow at 8pm.
The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, November 4, at 11am, with a luncheon to follow at the Parish Hall.
In lieu of flowers, we are asking that donations be made in my fatherâ??s name to either the Beaver Island Rural Health Center, or United Way Worldwideâ??to benefit the victims of the recent devastating hurricanes and earthquakes. Thank you.
