Are you looking for diverse and stimulating conversation? Come and join the fun with A.A.S.H. (Atheists, Agnostics, and Secular Humanists), a non-religious, non-profit social group for free thinkers.

The group objectives are to:
-Encourage free thinking
-Question your own stance on a subject
-Provide open, friendly discourse, and
-Promote growth in thought

A typical meeting will begin with short introductions, then topic questions will be read by the facilitator and the discussion will begin. The topic could be about anything, from a humorous review of a popular TV show or movie, to something more controversial like new laws or religion. The facilitator will help keep the group on topic, discourage conversation stoppers: e.g. statements like, â??Only an idiot would think thatâ?￾, promote good will between members, and give less vocal participants an opportunity to express themselves.

People of all ages, genders, races, careers, and political affiliations are encouraged to join in, with the premise that this group will be guided by freedom of thought, honesty, democracy, and equality. Donâ??t be afraid of a challenge or disagreement, this is how we learn and grow. It can be a great feeling to have people actively listen to what you have to say, and you may find the views of others interesting and thought provoking.

So, what topics would you like to discuss? Come and join A.A.S.H. and have fun.

Where: Dalwhinnieâ??s
When: Tuesday, June 27th, 7AM to 8 AM

If there is a time that is more preferable please e-mail me so we can adjust the meet up accordingly and be as inclusive as possible. For questions prior to the meeting, or to add topics of discussion please add to this posting or e-mail hannahlconnor39@gmail.com
