Paul Baron RIP

Word was received this morning of our good friend Paul Baron having a heart attack yesterday afternoon. He was taken to Charlevoix Area Hospital and then transferred to Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey. Please keep Paul and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Is there any more news on how he is doing or if there is somewhere to send cards??? Thanks...

It was reported later yesterday that Paul's situation was first thought to be a heart attack and later diagnosed as a seizure of some type. Please keep him in your thoughts. I will see if an address can be found.

Sadly, Paul Baron passed away last night..........a tragedy beyond believe for such a strong vital person! Paul's wishes were to be cremated and his ashes spread over Beaver Island from above. A fitting end to a too short life. His wishes also were that a party be held and that will be done. His service will be this Sunday on Beaver Island and following that a luncheon and live music will follow at the Shamrock downtown. Please join us in remembering this good man.

From the Petoskey News Review.....

Paul F. Baron, 53, of Charlevoix, died June 19, 2008, at Northern Michigan Regional Hospital in Petoskey.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Sunday, June 22, at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Beaver Island.

A celebration of life will follow at the Shamrock Restaurant on the island.

A complete obituary will follow.
Arrangements are being handle by Winchester Funeral Home in Charlevoix.
